The wife of one of the owners of Forfars is the key antagonist towards Brighton and Hove Albion's quest for a new Community Stadium in Moulsecombe, Brighton, near Falmer Station. This pledge is intended to show this woman that her actions are unpopular and Brighton fans are not willing to spend money with the enemy-an enemy that is threatening to destroy their football club. This woman's actions (with others) has cost Brighton and Hove Albion MILLIONS OF POUNDS in lost revenues and has delayed the construction of the Community Stadium for years. Her and her fellow anti-stadium campaigners have waged a campaign based on a ficticiously idyllic Sussex village being destroyed by a much needed sports and education facility. Their portrayal of their village is ficticious because the 'village' was sliced in two by the A27. Ficticious because there is already two huge university campuses next to the village. Ficticious because there is a main-line railway running through the already dissected village. This woman and her fellow campaigners are claiming that the stadium will be built on an AONB when in fact it is to be built partly on a muddy field and partly on a brownfield site. A site that is already earmarked for development.
I urge every Brighton fan, every football fan, every sports fan and every Lewes District Council tax payer to Boycott Forfars in a show of protest.
